About the event
The menu is a selection of traditional gamey meat dishes from diverse regions of the world, marrying Pinot's characteristic fruit and earthiness to strong wild flavours.
In the Southern Forest wine region, with deep karri loam soil and crisp cool nights Pinot noir ripens quickly during the warm summer days and is harvested before autumn arrives.
The menu takes one through more than a decade of Pinot noir vintages from Picardy's Pemberton vineyard. With attension on quality, each wine is managed to capture the essence of soil and climate and bottled, with savouring at the forefront of mind. On this special occasion, an exclusive selection of wines is presented from the wine makers personal cellar. The vintage Pinots are the last of their kind and a rare treat for a fellow wine lover. The all-time favoutote, Tete De Cuvee is fermented from a choice selection of premium beries sourced from a small and cherished block of French vines, giving rise to this wines complex palate.
